Well, my GF decided to spill pop all over my old keyboard and it started doing crazy things, I would press shift and it would mute the comp. Press the other one and the Calculator program would open. So I decided to get a new keyboard. Went to Best Buy and found this Saitek "Gaming Keyboard". Its backlit with blue LEDs (that you can turn off) and has a seperate "Command Pad". You can program the buttons on the pad to anything you want, even program 1 button to equal a series of normal button strokes. There are 3 modes, No Mode, Mode A and Mode B so with the 9 key pad can give you 27 acutal buttons. I read a few reviews on it and alot of people say its the easiest board to type on and the quietest as well. So far I agree, it was about 50 bucks. Here is a pic, I think if you are a hardcore gamer that "Command Pad" would be huge. You can move it to either side of the keyboard so a lefty can use it too. Its not on display but its there.

I have a Microsoft Internet Keyboard and I swear by it... all keyboards are easy to modify with blue LED's... mine is, i'll get some photos sometime.

I like the feedback that Microsoft keyboards give; There is just the right amount of keyfeedback.

I don't think these key boards could hold up to the normal semen and hair that end up in them.

That's an awesome feature. Have the fastest starts in warcraft 3! That sells me. I'm getting one!

So I take it that you guys play some PC games.

Would it be worth it for me to purchase a 64 MB PCI Video Card just for something temporary in order to be able to play some decent games like Morrowind, Far Cry, Tribes, or Unreal 2004?

What kind of card? Most PCI cards are way outdated and might not be supported by high end games. It might work for Morrowind but Far Cry might be pushing it. BTW Morrowind RULES! I have beaten the main quest as well as Bloodmoon and Tribunal....I have not beat Bloodmoon as a WereWolf though....

Cant wait for the new one...Obilivion. They have some screens up and they look *GREAT*. Looks like they are also making a version for the new Xbox so you know the graphics will kick.

I am not sure what NVIDIA card it is but it is $60 at WalMart so i will get a discount on it. I just want something so I can play newer games.

Yeah I agree there are better cards you can get. Get as leased a GForce 4Ti or something along those lines.

I will have to check that out when I go back to Fergus Falls because it is downright frustrating trying to do anything on my mom's comp.

I just found some memory for my moms computer for less than 1/2 it was going to cost.
