<p dir="auto">if your network card has a yellow (!) next to it, you probably need a driver for it.</p>
<p dir="auto">another way to check what's going on</p>
<p dir="auto">start-&gt;run-&gt;"ipconfig /all"</p>
<p dir="auto">you'll see an entry for "wireless network adaptor" with a valid ip address (something like 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x).  If your wired NIC is working you'll also see "Local Area Network Connection 1" or something like that.  If you don't see it, there's a device problem.  if you do see it, the device is being seen but not used/configured.  If you see it, and it also has an IP address, but you think something is still wrong, then we'll need more informatino to be helpful.</p>
