<![CDATA[Why do people do this?]]>I have been seeing lots of "modded" grandprix/sunfire/cavaliers/new cougars as of late. Now my question is (honest question, not hating):

Why do people bother with "modding" these cars? Do they have the history/technology/parts to be fast or even handle well?

I looked at pricing, and even though I rag on building hondas as "race" cars, the base model is signifigantly cheaper and I know they have the tech/history to build them to a certain level. Is this the case with these cars?

The one that confuses me the most is the Grandprix. Maybe if they were rear-wheel, but I just don't see the point.

Can someone explain?

yes, yes it was...and lesson learned from that...always remember to put the tranny/clutch dirt sheild back on after changing clutch to prevent water from gettin all up in the shit, and frying the everliving hell out of that poor ebay clutch
