<p dir="auto">And basically, it means that the dealer has to make a plausible case that your mod damanaged the car in a specific way that they wont cover under warranty.  So chanigng the stereo blowing up the turbo is bogus, but chipping the turbo car blowing the turbo isn't.  The dealer will regularly deny warranty claims on chipped cars with drivetrain failures, and they have more money than you if you want to go to court over it.</p>

There is a law about it. Just like all the stuff my dad put on diesel trucks. The dealer has to be able to prove with out a reasonable doubt that the part was directly responsible for the failure of what ever the car is in need of warranty work on. And cause it is driven hard wouldn't hold up if you wanted to take it to court.</p>

<p dir="auto">The catch is when you put a mopar stage on the car, the cars warranty does not cover the stage parts.</p>
