They will go out to the bars again and drive home, thinking they didnt drink enough to be impaired. O and i think that is fair. Based on the fact that people know the risks of street racing, or drinking and driving or what ever it may be and they still do it. So be it.

Thanks for supporting me on this matter...I agree with this, but to add to it...We should make it so if you get one DUI, then you can't ever have booze again...afterall, those drivers will never get their cars back...it's only fair is it not?

CARB doesn't mean shit outside of Cali. Even if a part is CARB legal, unless you pay a shop that is CARB approved to install, it looses its CARB certification.

John street legal means all the parts meet or are exempt from CARB, and other emissions certification bureaus, regulations. Headers and aftermarket cats usually reduce the emissions, so would the tune as the car would run more efficiently. I thought that was you in the civic, the metal gave it away.

It is better than nothing if you were to get in any trouble for it. It is a slim chance you would even get searched, but in case you did, hang on to anything you can in case you need it.

I've never seen anyone have VIN numbers checked for a traffic stop. Also, the burden of proof is on the accuser. They need to prove that you stole the part.
