I bought mine at checker and it has plastic tabs for screwing them down. Is that acceptable? Anybody else have a FE?</p>

I mounted mine between the fronts seats, attached to the rollcage crossmember.  Basically just mount it where you hopefully won't accidentally activate it, yet it's close enough that you can grab it while driving if need be.</p>
