<![CDATA[worth going to court?]]>Elisa got in a car accident today. She was turning left onto 8th street. She swears the other car was in the turning lane and the blinker was on. So she went and the chick smacked her. The other chick claims she was never turning or that the blinker was on. The police come and dont even talk to elisa, they get the other chicks story and then slap a court citation on elisa for the 22nd for failure to yeild. They never even fucking asked her what happened! Is this worth fighting, or should she just plead guilty and take the fine?

Chick's story ---> she was going straight and elisa pulled out infront of her.

Elisa's story ---> she swears the chick was in the right turning lane WITH her blinker on.

some facts ---> the chick didnt slow down at all, the chick swearved toward the median, elisa swearved right

Scenario #1 ---> chick was going straight and elisa pulled out infront of her
Scenario #2 ---> chick was in the turning lane and realized she didnt want to be, so she looked over her shoulder (hense no slowing down) and was pulling back out into the regular lane (hense swerving that direction) and turned around and elisa was right there and they smacked.

The chick lives right by us, only 1 street south, so im sure she was going to turn at the next street. So MAYBE she was just in the wrong turning lane....who knows...or elisa could've just pulled out infront of her.
