Now onto the phones, if you call into Verizon and you are having manufacture probelms with your phone and your within 30 days they will send you a BRAND NEW one. If you are outside of that 30 days they send a refurb. Now for insurance they can send you either or, anytime i have got a refurbed one from Asurion you can call them back and say its not working right and that you want a new one and they will send you one. But for the most part they send you a new one. The one way to tell the difference is what box it comes in. If it comes in a normal box like you would get from Verizon then its new, if its in anything else is a refurb. Hope to clarify some questions their.</p>
