i sent my other 360 in about 3 weeks ago.. had 3 rings of death.. they sent me return label and box.. i had it in 3-4 bus days.. i sent it into them. .they fixed it free of charge and sent it back to me in 3-4 bus days.. was a pretty quick process

Microsoft will fix the R.R.of D. defect for free now. Just call them up and tell them you got it and they will mail you the box/packing/pre-paid and they will fix it for free. Couple of my friends have had that happen this year and got it fixed...so basically no need to get a new one.
