Sarcasm is definitely the way to go if they are dicks though. I've made more then a couple people laugh as well as a few get embarrassed or mad. I have been in retail for a while, worked in metal fab shops, worked on the rail, and Bounced/Dj'd/Bartended, and lastly was a loss prevention officer in Alaksa.......which i dont care what you seen, you aint seen a REAL homeless crazy bitch, until you you seen a ALASKA homeless Crazy Bitch.

Anyways. What i have noticed, is that regardless of the people you deal with, and regardless of the setting, i always Assume that they are not Idiots, Assholes, Wannabe Ganstas, Or actual gangstas. Always. And how they treat me decides how i treat them. Even when i arrested peeps in AK, i just didnt assume they were a-holes, i talked to them with respect, and expected the same.

If they didnt, i was the a complete asshole to them. I would completely match their level, hoping that they would understand how stupid it was. Plus its kinda ammusing.

Usually they never got it. But it works, be nice, and if they are a dick, well then it really doesnt matter how you are.

I dunno, just my 2 cents.

Now, if you are nice it seems like you are getting pushed around by words and actions, theres is no way you would act on someone being a dick, or screwing up your order, etc etc

This is why you have to be smart with your words and actions. Don't walk around being a dick, but have respect for yourself through your words and your actions.

I'm always a nice guy, but if you are rude to me or disrespect me I will let you know. Thats not being mean, thats not being a pushover.

Nice does not always equal being a push over.

I used to get a kick out of pushing people around and being an ass but it gets old fast. I do always have that experience to rely on if people want to play it that way, so some good did come out of it.

yes, sarcasm can go along way.

For those people that know me, I am a super nice guy. but the world and yes, even fargo has its assholes. however, for me being nice or polite makes my life more enjoyable. People are always going to be pissed off or have shitty manners no matter what. but thats ok, I feel sorry for them. At the end of the day I know I did my best to treat everyone well.

This is the way I look at it. I have old fashion beliefs. I am always nice or helpful to everyone that I can be, cause you will never know when a time may come around where you will need help from someone else.

I noticed tonight how people can be asses. Me and my roommate went to the Giant Panda for dinner, we're just sitting there eating and minding our own business and these two punks, with there pant all low and shit, came in and were mad dogging and gooning at us. It's like WTF, can't a guy eat a meal with out some poser trying act like he's a bad ass for some reason that's only known to him. I try to be nice and polite to people and I do occasionally get a positive response back, but I'm just waiting for that one time somebody's a dick to me for me to snap.
