<![CDATA[computer help please?!]]>Ok i bought a new motherboard and cpu combo. My hard drive has no sata connection on it and thats all the new motherboard has so i'm assuming i need a adapter from the 39pin ribbon to sata or something?? can anyone confirm this for me OR find the adapter online or around here?? Thanks!!

This is from experience, the adapters do work, but not terribly reliably, the ones i have used would have troubles working sometimes on boot up, others they would work and randomly quit in the middle of working on something.

Get a sata hard drive and an external cage for your IDE drive if there is stuff you need off it.
