So I might not be that different then the dsm motor wise. But until I get more research done I won't know how far the compatiblity goes.

I just kept seeing different people refer to dsm parts as upgrades (bov, turbo, ext.). But I thought that these Il4's were inheritly mitsu.
That motor is also not interchangle about the Neon 420a 2.0l. Look for turbo parts from Shadows, sundance, spirit, lancer, daytona, omni, rampage, etc. 2.2L or 2.5L chrysler parts..

One is dodge built (2.2-2.5L SOHC with a little help from Lotus for the head on the DOHC TIII), the other is totally mitsu. While the 2.5L TI did use a TE04 Mitsu turbo, it was used with a garrett style exhaust housing. Maybe the turbos might fit with some fab, but even that requires a T3 exhaust manifold or adapter. Tranny is totally dodge which is why has such sloppy shifting. I've owned several turbo dodge's and dsm's. Even the oil filters are not compatable.
