She was having troubles with it and took it to a mechanic to find that it is overcharging (about 17volts).</p>
<p dir="auto">The voltage regulator is held within the ECM. So they figure it is the ECM that is bad and needs to be replaced.</p>
<p dir="auto">Can anyone confirm this? and also, there is a firm suspension and w/ out firm suspension ECU. Does anyone know the difference and what happens if i use the wrong one?</p>

probably the same idiot that put the battery in the bumper of the stratus.</p>

My Mazda does the same trick and I've heard it would require a ECM replacement to fix such an issue.</p>
