Another thing is it keeps costs down, so maybe I can't afford a new one right now but I can damn sure afford myself an 07 or 08 GT. Yes that is because it has depreciated in value a lot, but what about a 07 or 08 3 series could I touch one for 15 to 20K? If so, the depreciation is a lot more significant there.
