Here is the deal with the car, I am going to be as honest as possible in my description of the car. There are just over 111,000 miles on it, this number will be increasing daily. I bought it about 4 months ago from a local guy who claimed it was knocking. I went over and inspected the car and had a friend of mine who is a certified tech at a local dealer come with. He determined that it was a bearing issue, not a knock. I bought the car and have been driving it for the last four months with zero issues. It makes a slight noise between 2500-3000rpm, however it burns zero oil and the oil in it was drained through coffee filters and no metal was found. The only mods currently on the car are a set of Megan Racing coilovers and an HID kit. The factory suspension will also be included in the sale.

The body of the car is in OK shape. The windshield has a crack on the passenger side. The driver side front fender has a dent and will most likely need to be replaced. There is a scratch and small dent on the drivers door as well as a few on the passenger side. There are also some spots on the front bumper where the paint is beginning to chip.

During the last four months I have been purchasing parts to do a hybrid build. To my knowledge the only other items needed to put the stock heads on would be crank and rod bearings, and a head gasket. Total I have about $1500-$2000 in parts for the motor. Here is a list of parts that will be included in the sale, at this time I am NOT interested in parting the following parts out.

EJ255 Block bored and honed to 100mm by a very reputable local machine shop
ARP head studs
ARP rod bolts
Wiseco Forged Pistons 8.9:1 compression
08 STi rods
Brand new 08 STi crank (has the nitrate coating)
Gates Racing timing belt
Walboro 255 HP with install kit
All necessary bottom end gaskets were purchased from my local dealer
Fujita ram air intake

The only trades I am really interested in would be 04-06 GTOs or something similar, or possibly an STi. As of right now I only have one picture of the car, and it's not a great one. I will be taking some more either tonight or tomorrow. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me or call or text 701-367-7485.

The rules are in plain sight for ALL to see and FOLLOW. Please do so. If I were buying a car and spending as much money on it, I would most definitely want to run the Vin #. If it's that hard to do, then dont post it at all.

This would be a fun car glws my dad knows the guy that had it before faber bought it and it was taken care of. One of the reasons he wanted to sell it though was cause my dad was like "hey yours was knocking like my sons before it through a rod" so he sold it lol. But with that setup ( I had a hybrid wrx and it made lots of power with just the stock turbo) this will be and amazing car!!

Thanks for some more background! The car has real potential with the fresh bottom end but I want to make it clear that it still drives fine. I drive it everyday without any problems. If someone is seriously interested I would be willing to put new bearings in the 2.0 before I sell it. However it isn't hard to keep it under 2500rpm with how long the WRX gears are.
