<![CDATA[95 Civic EX Problem]]>Hey. I just got my civic on monday, and its already acting up. Its the 1.6 vtech. Its makin a funny sound around 3200 RPM. Its a very quick clicking/buzzing. It kinda sounds like an electric motor running, or if youve heard the nitro powered rc cars, it sounds like that. Its only aroung 3200. not any other time.

On a turbo on the other hand, it is a great idea.

It doesnt make it when im excellerating through it.

no, its only at that RPM. It doesnt get faster or louder or anything. it starts at like 2800 and ends at 3000 not getting louder or faster between those rpm's. it sounds like valvetrain but its not changing like i said.

How much would it cost to fix if it was a rod knock?

Its metal on metal coming from the motor. its only around 3000 rpm. Nothing else. its a tapping/rattling. I am goin to take the PS out tho sometime.
