A day and half later, my evo made 667 hp 530 TQ ( Yes, I said a day and half later...) After we unstrapped the car off the dyno I took it out and did a 1st-3rd gear rip and it spit and sputter. I said "F*** It, Ive been here too long and just dont care anymore" On thursday I took the care out and had to turn down the boost in order for it to run "OK"
Come Saturday, I made many passes down the track starting with :
11.5
11.3
11.2
11.2
11.1
11.1

I was given 2 warnings after about 6-7 runs for not having a cage. My main goal was to run 10's and that was not going to happen on that tuning.....There was no power. I then sought out Shane at DBperformance for some help he added NLTS (no lift to shift) and changed some other minor things to help make me reach my goal..I then met Scheides, an Evo ecu guru, who asked what my A/F ratio was " I said 10 to 1 " he then looked at my flash and said we needed to re-scale my injectors and some other minor quick changes. I then took him for a spin and he said "this should be good" My very next pass with out changing a thing went:
1.752 60 foot Spining
4.748
71.57
102.73 mph
9.189
10.888
132.69 mph

Right after that pass I was so pumped and knew I could make it run even quicker without turning up the boost..

Next pass I NLTS ( no lifting the gas)

1.743 60 spining
4.635
6.970
107.76 mph
8.983
10.672
132.92

I cant thank Shane and Scheides enough for the help!! he cut .5 sec off my time and gained 6 mph!:icon_salut:

Now I wonder to myself how far off is 9.99? ... Maybe cage, slicks, 40psi boost...

I would need to check my logs to see if the ecu was pulling timing or picking up knock.. The car should pick up 30 on the top end..

I think slicks would get me some 1.5 60 foots. That would bring me down to 10.2's ish Ive alreayd broke a t-case from wheel hopping and have upgraded the diff.

I think it weighs 3150 w me.....I will be trying for 10.5 or better at the next tintmaster race.. But im sure the traction will be worse.. I have falkin 615's at 17psi.. Is there a trick to make them stickier?
