Does Fargo Iron sell or do they just do recycling there?
Maybe find something cheaper than buying 4 or 6' at a time from places like Home Depot.

I can't remember the name specifically, but honestly theres like 6 places in town that will basically sell you any kind of steel you need. I think it was like Fargo Metal or something, it was on 45th st No. Use the phone book, theres a bunch of places. I swear people forgot there are phone books anymore.

I think you're talking about McNeilius, 47th st and 15th ave north, their new building is going up on 12th ave north west of 45th st, that's where their cut to length stuff will be. There are a few other places in town that sell smaller spieces but you'll be paying just as m uch as going to Gerdeau and get what they'll cut.

Very good place to find aluminum. Gerdau Ameristeel has anything you want, and will sell it in small quantities but their prices arent that good.

I'm fine buying long lengths (as long as they'll fit on my trailer) assuming it's reasonably cheaper than the home improvement stores and I dont' have to buy 500' at a time.
