BTW, I would advise anybody who does this to use the Midco server in Sioux Falls, SD. I get the best speeds from there every time, although ping may be a bit higher there than the recommended server.

I'm fairly certain its the constant network activity generated by all the pre-loaded shit that HTC / VZW puts on here.

Not entirely true, I know of at least 2 people who are using a docsis 3.0 setup from cableone w/ speeds @ 50mbps....this is a brand new option from them however AFAIK, you might want to call in and inquire about it.

FWIW, MidcoMAX is going to be getting an increase to 50mbps on the "entry level" docsis 3 setup. MidcoUltimate is going to be increasing speeds to 125mbs (from their current 90mbps)

Some places in Fargo, Cableone is your only option beyond 56k (including i29/multiband...that crap is slower than molasses)

I'm can't wait for LTE or Sprint going 4g...speaking of which, anybody know when Sprint will have 4g around here? I may have to switch when Verizon gets rid of their unlimited plans...
