I did read the post I was just interested in the structural bits, nearly everything is going to have some surface rust I'm just concerned about control arms, crossmembers etc. Rockers are easily replace by rock sliders of filled with bondo and painted with truck bed coating, body rust on a jeep just add character and give you an excuse to cut it out and replace it with tough looking stuff like 2x6 tubing <img src="https://fargostreet.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f604.png?v=40430adaedb" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--smile" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":D" alt="😄" /></p>

<p dir="auto">It would take ALOT of bondo to fill those rockers....lol I was goin to cut them out and put in some sheet metal.</p>

<p dir="auto">yes, it has rust....thats what i said in the original post <img src="https://fargostreet.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f642.png?v=40430adaedb" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--slightly_smiling_face" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":)" alt="🙂" /></p>
<p dir="auto">It was a MN vehicle from 93 to 2010 so 17 years and 207,xxx miles of driving in MN will give it quite a bit of rust.</p>
<p dir="auto">But its still a great dependable winter/4x4 vehicle. the 4.0's are bulletproof!</p>
