Even HD (1080i) is less resolution than anyone would consider running on a home machine for games if they're a gamer.  720p would be a bit more impressive, but still, the point is consoles can get away with lesser video cards because they're not driving the same resolutions as a computer.</p>

The Cell processor on the ps3 has twice the processing power of the 360's, the video card is better than two geforce 6800's.. this thing will dominate the 360, like I said before.</p>

<p dir="auto">a big part of their decision was also because nintendo has always been a target for piracy. back with their cartridges they were fairly easy to copy.. which is one of the reasons they went with the smaller disks. as far as i know, you still cant copy them as easily as xbox/ps2 games.</p>
