SO now i have to get some good quotes from shops around here. Hopefully i wil see some new mods from this "misshap" 😄

My insurance company had nothing to do with my accident because it was the other persons fault. Since they are the ones paying out, they determine value, appraisals etcetera, if the cost to repair is within 10% of the value they can total your car, You have the option of taking the money and giving them the car, or taking the car and they deduct what you could get for salvage, and give you a check. That is from personal expierience, nobody was taking my car. That fender bender shouldn't total that car, but it may.

Therefore, the car was totalled. It didn't affect my insurance because they were not the ones paying.

Find the highest quotes around town that you can. Tell the body man you want an all new quarter panel put on. No pounding out the dent and body filler shit.
