What are you looking to do? honestly, being in the repair business, I never go through the procedure and "release pressure" the right way...like if I go to replace the fuel filter, I just make sure the key is off, and take the lines off. Of course, I make sure that Im careful and not get the fuel in my face, but in this business, time is money, and I dont have 5-10 minutes just to figure out the "proper procedure" to let it out. And the deal with "most cars have shraeder valves" isn't true, most domestics do. Not many imports. GM has been good with it, along with chrysler and ford, but most imports dont have a shraeder valve in them. my .02.

For example, Fords have a Schrader valve on the fuel rail that you just use a small screwdriver to press the pintle in.
