As for the fuel filter, it wasn't the top guys fault, it was the pit guy.</p>
<p dir="auto">When I worked at Jiffy lube, I never saw this happen. However, it is a crap ass place to work.</p>
<p dir="auto">When I worked in the pit, occasionally I would skip greasing zerks, but thats entirely jiffy lubes fault. You are expected to get the car out in 15 minutes, however, if there are 3 one tons in the shop at once, each with 12 or more fittings, It would take 10 minutes alone JUST to grease the zerks. At the same time, you would need to drain the oil, replace the filter, check the front and rear diff levels, transmission levels, and occasionally do fuel filters.</p>
<p dir="auto">No one I know of could physically do all of that in 15 minutes.</p>
<p dir="auto">Also, you need no mechanical background to work at jiffy lube. They would stick 16 year olds in the pit who don't even know what a drain plug looks like one there 2nd day.</p>
