The only reason I'm doing it is to get rid of shifter movement and the jumpy downshifting. i dont like the car shaking at idle with the motor, but i would rather have that than my shifter move 3 or 4 inches when i accerlate or my hood smacking my valvecover.</p>

They are -cheap-.  "Window weld" mounts never really dry or work all that well.  Good for a quick repair but not a permanent solution.</p>
