Because what I would reccomend is to try to get on a different network (Isp) and see if the same thing is happening on like any other internet; if it still doesn't work if you went that route, it could just be that it maybe a setting on your computer. I had cable, and Limewire seemed to work fine, with the only crappy part is somethings aren't real, and when you dbl-click to d/l, it will take you to a site... For ex: (Sponsored Result) <-- If I remember that correctly; would be something not worth clicking, since it wouldn't be a download. I know if you read into the technical support of Azereus, you can mess with the port settings to get a better connection, and access more people to download from. Some Isp's tend to block certain ports.. Are you also working thru a router? Just curious..

well my limewire had the same problem, but i use Cable internet. Try to go to File then Click on Connect. If that don work, then restart limewire and do the same thing. If that don't work. Then i wouldn't know ur problem. Bitcomet i think is better. Limewire has a lot of fake stuff. That's my opinion.
uhhh...i think i might have tried that..

ex:'s would be.. www.torrentreactor.net, www.isohunt.com thepiratebay.org
or you can google torrent search and it'll show a few others as well.
usually good for larger files... prolly not as quick to download 1 certain song or something like morpheus or limewire... usually you'll find numerous songs all zipped up, etc.
