I know it works on IE 6, SP1 and SP2 (XP). I also know it works on IE 5 on NT4...

Unlike other petz hacks kicking about this version has itemshops, battle arena, unique images and user banks.

Raise and nurture your own lil cute pet into a mean fighting machine and battle it out with fellow owners. Choose the type, gender, colour and name of your pet.

Each member can raise one pet, which has variable Health, Strength, Defence, Agility, Hunger, Pleasure, Happiness, Level, and Experience. Each pet has its own image depending upon it's Level which increases when the experience reaches 100 (through battles). Items can be bought for the members pet from different item shops which is all controlled through the admin CP. Different shops for different pets/items. Items can be used (for feeding, playing with, making stronger, tougher, healthier, and to heal etc) through the user CP. Members will earn money for posting (optionally in forums where posting affects post count) the amount is determined in the admin CP. Money can be stored in a bank account to to gain interest every 24 hrs percentage is set in admin CP. Users with bank accounts can transfer money (via their bank account number) To maintain fairness and correct balance items are automatically given a cost (based upon their strength and effect). This option is hard coded. To make items cheaper or more expensive just change the amount of Money that is given to users per post via the admin CP. This provides a more stable economy within PetzVB.

Petz can be battled in the battle arena. Only one battle per pet at any one time. There is a user defined wager on the fight. Both opponents need to have the wager amount of money on hand (you can bet 4x your current money). When a challenge is started the petz picture will be displayed with the wager amount and pet information (amongst other petz in the arena) another owner then chooses an opponent (the original pet owner has the first attack and has the option to accept the challenge). Surrendering will cause you to lose the battle and forfeit the wager. Different equations will be used randomly to determine damage and attack type and response. There is a battle log and other users can view the current battles (and logs).

Other forum users can play or taunt petz unless the pet is in battle. Members can be set a taunt limit from the admin CP. The pet is displayed in the postbit and can be clicked to access the pet profile page.

There are extensive admin controls and the whole thing can be turned off.
