<![CDATA[Borat Movie??]]>Anyone know why the Borat movie isn't showing locally??? I know that one person (forgot who) always talks about the theatres and stuff and might be able to fill me in as to why it's not playing anywhere?

i lol at jackass, maybe 2 times. besides the punching bag, my stomach hurt from that scene.
but borat, i was cracking up every couple minutes.
they did not need to put the hairy nude scene in the movie. from then on out, it wasnt the same.

A few parts were mildly funny but the humor of the dude's accent wears off in about 5 minutes and most of the funny parts were in the commercials. I have no idea how you could compare this movie to Jackass 2, especially calling Jackass 2 child's play in comparison....what movie did you watch Brian?

The idiots at 20th Century Fox are to blame for the movie not being released. We have no control over how many copies of the movie that they release. The story I got was that the movie was supposed to go wide from the start with about 2000 prints but in three select cities at advance screenings, the public response after watching it was crap so Fox dropped the print count to about 800. There are a lot more than 800 theatres in the U.S. so we got screwed for last weekend.

The movie starts Friday at the WAC, I don't have the times off the top of my head so just go here. http://www.cectheatres.com

Exactly! My friends and I are not looking foreward to the afteraffects of this movie because it's going to end up like napolean dynamite more than likely.
