If the person is light, or has a strong neck, than what happens is they pretty much suffocate to death.
If he was electrocuted - his eyeballs could pop and sometimes they have to give extra jolts to make sure they are good n dead.
If he had the lethal injection - sometimes what happens is you get paralyzed and actually don't get put under so your pretty much awake as you die.
That would be creepy..
