<![CDATA[Fuck you Microsoft]]>Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, decided to make it so that you MUST use a floppy drive to load RAID/SCSI/SATA drivers before you can install Windows XP. A USB floppy drive won't work either.

I have a floppy drive, but I don't have a frickin cable for it. 😞 Who wants to bring a floppy cable to b-dubs tomorrow?

Thanks for the tip....Yah I tend to chuck whatever they send me - so anyways - one of the new blades we just got...took my jump drive right off the bat, so that was nice. But I will keep that in mind thanks.

You installed the OS improperly on the HP then. Rule #1 w/ an HP is to start w/ their Smart Start CD and go from there. Conveniently loads in every driver for the system as well as all HP management agents. Easy as fuck.

I just really don't feel like going through the process of slipstreaming the drivers cause I'm a lazy ass. 😄 The floppy drive should still be good as I can read the files from my laptop (its an external floppy). I think that the problem is that my mobo doesn't much care for external floppies or something like that. I want to try my internal drive, but I just don't have a cable for it.
