THIS DOES NOT MEAN LESS GRIP. It actually makes more grip as more of your tire stays in road contact. Anyway the stiffer your rear end the more appt to slide it is. Then you add all that power your making and you'll create the "power over" drifitng effect. think american muslce car movie u turn drift. You don't swerve to start it, but you start to swing out because of the power you ake. So you're going to probably have your back end swinging around A LOT until you get your setup tuned, or just stay that way and learn to drive it like that. The 2 door billion hp evo does.

For reference, watch youtube videos of WRC Road Rally footage. you should be able to do those 1 lane uturn that they do.

A truck and a trailer is a smart idea. Just in case your car breaks or you crash or whatever, anything can happen. thats the thing that keeps me from doing more roadracing besides my job, just too busy in the summer.

Not that auto-x isn't fun, I just think that he would rather be able to take his car to 100+ mph and then have to drop down few gears for some hairpins. He is a big fan of F1 racing so I can see this as being more of his style of a race/track event.

I used to go to St. Cloud but haven't in a couple of years. I would like to go to a real race track sometime but i need to improve my brakes. I don't have a truck and a trailer either, which is a must have. I have been lucky in the past but if you drive your car to the track and wreck it your SOL. My car has been very reliable. Guess what i drive? 92 eclipse gsx. I have driven 2hrs. to the track 6-8hrs. at the track and then back home with no problems except worn out brakes. Anyhow good to hear about you guys, keep fightin the good fight.
