bank loans are a beautiful, beautiful thing. It gives you that wonderful "im getting in way over my head" feeling.
But I'm also pretty lucky. I'm still living at home and my parents are paying my insurance. Otherwise I definately would not have this car, nor my last car.

Well i'm pretty sure now that it is possible to chrome all of these things.
Now I just need to find a place in town that does it and how much it is.
I also heard theres some new sort of powdercoating that resembles chrome, anyone know anything about this? Would most likely be cheaper and easier to get done.

There are quite a few different powders that have a very shiny appearance (almost chrome, black chrome, etc.).Is there any reason you couldn't buy a chrome bottle and sell your existing bottle? I think it that it would end up costing about the same amount, plus all of your bottle certifications would still be in place on the outside of the bottle. Just a suggestion.

Well, I don't really want a "sticker" on the bottle, is it illegal to not have one?
I have never had nitrous, but I know that in order to get the bottle filled it needs to have current safety certification. I'm not sure if there is some other kind of documentation your could provide to the nitrous retailer, but I pretty sure they usually just have a sticker on them. It is basically the same a shielding gas tank ... certification is good until 20xx, then it needs to be recertified.Help me out here nitrous guys.

There is a place on university down my autozone...that will chrome anything. dont remember the name of it but i have a business card of theres somewhere.i'll try to find it and give ya the name of the place.

nope...i dont remember exactly what it is.

I picked up a card at the valley vintage show for some "Paradise Audio & O.C.R Customs" says they do chroming, car audio/video air ride hydraulics, custom sub enclosures, lights, etc...
Is that it? The sign next to their cards said their shop burned down and they were rebuilding though.

lucas is right iirc, the bottle is supposed to have the sticker on there now whether or not the person who fills the bottle cares or not or whether or not the guy doing tech at the track cares is another story. personally i'd leave the sticker on personally and save yourself the possiblility of a gigantic headache : shrug :

there is the NOS brand (not nawws
) chrome bottle if that helps, looks like there biggest bottle is 10 lbs
300 $$ on jegs for the 10 lbswhat brand kit is the focii set up for ?
-
yeah thats the place n2o.

its a nitrous pro flow system madeby wilson manifolds which as far as I can tell on their website doesnt have a chrome bottle.
I also couldnt find them selling a remote bottle opener or purge kit, so i purhcased ZEX opener and purge kit. I bought a NOS bottle warmer so a NOS bottle would make sense.
My problem is then i will have - nos bottle and warmer, zex opener and purge, with nitrous pro flow solenoids.
Unless the bottle opener and solenoids can be chromed, then noone would know the difference.
Think anyone would buy my totally un-used nitrous pro flow 10lb bottle?
I got all my parts ordered from ford, so as soon as saleen sends em out, i'm totally wired up. Knowing saleen, this means I should have the nitrous complete in about 3 years, LOL
