For how much honda's cost, they have chinsy interior.... Im not a big VW fan, but I do like the Benz, BMW and Porsche aspect of german engineering... and for the similarly priced JDM equivilents I'd take any of the german cars over the JDM ones for many reasons.

Props for your opinion. You like german, i like JDM. Im sure there are people that would say that american is way better than JDM or German, just depends on the person...
But i dont think you can compare a posche to a honda. Thats like saying the Yankees are better than the Red Hawks...no duh.

just ordered my ABDracing intake for the VR6. Supposed to add 10-15hp. puttn me at about 220hp for a couple hundred!
Not so STOCK anymore hu guys.........Sorry, but it won't necessarily raise your peak HP by 10-15 hp and if it does it may do so at the cost of lost hp in other areas. Average across the board HP gain guesstimate=~5-7 hp

You can compared Lexus to BMW + Benz; 3 series vs. IS300 vs. C-Class.
You can compare the roadsters: S2k vs. Z4
Theres a billion comparisions to make between JDM and German shit...
German > JDM > American
Reliablity would prob go: JDM > German > American

how many old vw on the road, how many old toyotas, nissans, and hondas are there...?
Also, honda's do NOT have chincy interior. They are not luxury cars, they are mostly econo boxes. the s2k is hondas first rwd car, give them a break. they did pretty good. I just have one question for u tho jim? if German cars are soooo much better than jap cars, why are there 3 jap cars for every german car on the road?

"Of the 11 sedans with the lowest predicted reliability, according to the survey, 10 were from European brands including Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and BMW. Most Volkswagen models were rated far below average for reliability. The all-wheel drive Volkswagen Passat received the lowest reliability rating of any vehicle in the survey
Of the 32 car models with the highest reliability ratings, 29 were from Japan-based manufacturers. Toyota, with 16, and Honda, with 7, had the most vehicles with top reliability ratings. South Korean automaker Hyundai's Sonata earned a top spot in the ratings this year, a first for that manufacturer."

"Only nine cars meet the most stringent standards for reliability--and they're all Japanese."
Just do a search on google for most releiable cars and see what u come up with.... Cant argue with field testing.

The honda is cheaper, has more power, revs higher(more fun to drive)
The only thing the z4 has that an s2k does is telescopic steering and it gets 30 on the hwy instead of 26mpg.
JDM>US>everything else>german
