Well a buddy just cammed me, the crash happened in front of his house and he was the person who called 911. Turns out it was my old blue camaro, and it is crashed so bad that its hard to believe anyone survived. Everyone in the car was so drunk that they could barley walk, the driver is in jail for DUI, and fleeing the scene of a accident, because he and one of the passengers bailed out after crashing into a tree at 60mph. The other passenger in the back was unconsiounsus and is in the hospitel.

From what I was told by my buddy since he saw the whole thing, is they were doing donuts in the street and racing up and down the blocks as fast as possible until they lost it and the camaro hit a huge tree right where the driver door and fender meet. He said the door was torn off and the side of the car was pushed in about 2 feet. Then I guess the car flipped around and ripped up the rear end too and tore the hatch up. I guess the driver was thrown from the car when it crached too.

I am going to see if I can get pictures, since its sitting in the police impound lot.

When I talked to them last night the guy said he just bought the car and have been doing burnouts and such all day long. When we went our seperate ways the were talking about how drunk they were going to get.

Didn't even own the car for 24 hours and already wrapped it around a tree.

Wa2fastcamaro, what kind of exhaust was on that camaro? Thats the hole reason what I stopped and talked to them, he had no idea.

My parents got a call at 4 in the morning cuz the guy who bought the car from us months ago never retitled the car and he got in trouble himself with the car so he sold it but was supposed to retitle it first, so we got all the details at like 4 in the morning. cops already knew that the car wasnt our car though so that was good, the guy who had it right after me got a dui in Detroit Lakes and it was impounded so the cops called us and that was a little bit of a mess.

Not even 24 hours of owning it, wow.. Last thing I'd do with a new purchase of a car is drive drunk in it, mostly for the fact that I wouldn't be used to the car yet, let alone I don't drink/drive.

1996 LT1 Mike (Way2fastcamaro) had done quite a bit of work to it before i got it, it wasnt anywhere near stock. its really sad to see such a nice car go to waste like that

Thats why you ALWAYS go with to transfer the title to ensure that its taken care of.

Or atleast get a bill of sale. If you sell a car out of the region, it's just not possible to be there to transfer the title.

I miss my car. I was hoping to eventually buy it back, but I guess that is out of the question. I had baught another camaro but it would take thousands of dollars and tons of work to make it as nice.

I was going to go take pictures of it, but forgot where the police lot is, anyone know where the police lot is, not the city impound lot, but the lot where cops keep vehicles seized in dui's and involved in criminal cases???

But ya if none of you knew, it was a 1996 Camaro with a LT1 and a 6-speed. Had headers and borla 3in exhaust, performance cam, ported heads with larger valves, ported intake, bored out throttle body, cold air intake, granetilli mass air flow sensor. Suspension had aftermarket strut bar, control arms, panhard bar, shocks and struts, sub frame connectors, etc... Plus I had new trans am wheels on it, wings west body kit and wing.
