Who has gotten a minor in ND?

was being dumblast night and got a minor, i got a ticket which said 175.00 fine an a mandatory court appearance, but some people say that you have to take a class, or something, just curious... let the flaming begin...
BTW, i'm 18, so i know that effects the sentencing.

well i got 9 minors before i turned 21 4 in fargo they just give ya a ticket then u go to court and u get a fine and if the judge thinks u need to take a class then u go for like a hr and its all done might get comm. service but nothign to bad... at least thats what happend to me

I thought that the classes were only for people who are under the age of 18. A class wouldn't do too much for someone who is like 18-20; and can make personal decisions for themselves, with no 1 responsible except themselves, so a class on not drinking wouldn't be too sufficient..
Another thing as well; I thought if the driver = sober; that meant that they couldn't check the rest of the people in the car to see if they were drunk or not. Unless you admitted you had, or.. he asked to give a breathlizer, and you didn't refuse; may want to check into that as well.. And in ND; I remember when they raped you in Fines for drinking underage, now it seems to have gone down a little. -
they can if they have reasonable cause, aka smelling off alcohol in the vehicle and the driver is a minor. and ussaully if they suspect someone has been drinking in the car they well find out who it is.
ive been in that experience before. driving someone who had been drinking but was over 21. and haven been pulled over. i got pulled over for the exhaust on my jeep

I'm pretty sure i'm gonna get let off w/ the fine and a year of unsupervised prob, I blew a .031 which is mad gay but w/e. I was very cooperative with the police and I have never gotten any alcohol related offenses before, the only record I have was when I stole the wig! someones gotta have it on video.

In Jworld when i got my minor i was 16 and had to go to a 8 hour class, and there were people over 18 in it too.

you shouldnt have to take classes joel, i had to take classes once but i was under 18 thats why...should just be the 175$ and 1 yr unsupervised probation like you said.
