Wow, i hate to see young kids taking out huge loans on nice cars. Im in college and have only taken out a small loan on my winter truck, otherwise i've always saved up for all of my vehicles and had relatively cheap cars. I have nothing against loans, but taking out a $10k+ loan before you are 18 doesn't make sense to me at all (especially since most young ppl don't take care of cars well). And paying all that money forever sucks, i hate having pretty small payments right now on my truck. But that is just me.......save the nice car for when your an adult and can afford it with a good job.

Car loans suck when you have to deal with school, especially college. I took out a loan for 6k to buy my Mustang at the beginning of my senior year. I had a steady part time (25-30 hours per week) job and made all of my payments. The crappy part was when I moved up to school. I really wish I would have been able to get the car paid off and go to college without having any bills. Oh well.

Congrats man. TONS of people make payments on relatively expensive cars when they are your age so don't worry about the haters. At least you're putting money into something of value instead of drinking and smoking your money away like lots of teenager.

Im not hating on him, im simply saying that i bet at some point he will regret having to pay so much for a long time. It is a nice car, and yes he at least will have SOME of that money back when he pays it off unlike many kids who waste ALL of there money on nothing of value. I already regret having a loan on my truck and it is a small loan because i liked having everything paid off.
