If you are going for performance, i would not go to an avenger. Now i don't know a lot about them, but everyone i have seen just has rims and a tip, and maybe a kit but is just slow. PPl must like them tho cuz i see a lot of them riced out. I wouldn't put money or any signifigant time into one even tho they aren't too bad looking i guess, but do what makes you happy.

ya totally custom would be the only way to go. for pretty much everything.

      SLS would be my suggestion

      PM me for:
      Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
      Diesel repairs or performance products.

Yea, as of right now, it's all speculation. I am going to go test drive a bonneville SSEI today after school. That one is at least supercharged...lol The avenger is an automatic transmission with a V6 and it just sounds like a slow car to me. Yea it looks cool, but I think the bonneville would be alot more fun...

IMHO, a bonneville won't be fun... Ur not gonna be gangstah leaning in a bonneville, whether is supercharged or not,... more of a grandma car...
It might be a little faster but its still auto, and 4 dr. Try Honda? 🙂

Werd, Not really lookin to be a "Wangsta" to tell you the truth. I think what I am gonna have to do is bite the bullet and just buy something to drive for a couple of years until I am out of college...I guess if I wait long enough, something will show up...

Pulley kits are like $80. The motors are stout as hell too. There was just a TT Grand Prix that ran mid 9's with the stock long block...

They have the "HD" version, but yeah it is generally considered the weak link. People have stockers into the 10s but at that point its a guessing game.

yeah its pretty rice, it think you can get a 5spd sebring tranny, same motors i beleive but dont quote me. i know they had 5spd trannies for sebrings tho for a fact. and both cars are 2.5L...and something most people dont know about sebrings and avengers is that in 1st they will shift to 2nd by them selves redline..

I went to test drive it yesterday night and it's pretty nice. 6K for a car with 54K miles. Not to bad, in my book, that is still getting broke in. They said that the car was serviced every 2500 miles whether it needed it or not, and I slammed it down a few times, and it goes pretty quick. I am going to go try and test drive the bonneville today and I will let you all know what I think. I really want the bonneville, but in all practicality, it might have to be the avenger. I'm not made of money...although I wish I was...lol
