ps3 or 360?

just holding a controller and pushing buttons isn't old? and how can you guarantee something that hasn't been done before? every games controls are different so it isn't like you have the exact same "buttons" to push in each one. different movements cause different results in each game. Nintendo saw a problem and that is a declining interest in video games along with people looking to return to a game to play again. Hence why the shied away from the HD gaming for now and aimed towards the interactive aspect of it to try and get the older generation and the has-been gamers back into it.

a lot of speculation came about when the nintendo DS came out just because it is different and has two screens and touch screen on one. I believe the DS is in the lead over the PSP. I have only owned a few PSP games, and have a whole lot of DS games. Maybe im just getting old, but id rather have fun and get involved with the game instead of just using the "old fashioned" button pushing.

for some reason wii is really appealing maybe its the fact that you can just have people who dont play video games normally jump right in and play... more of a social thing then a video game thing.

although the gears of war commercials make me want a 360

agreed 100%. I will get a 360 eventually, right after the new tv. but for now, the wii will do justice in getting me back into gaming more.

Didnt Microsoft try to release Halo3 at the same time as the PS3. So when Sony predicted their release they said early February, so Microsoft made their release the same time. Then all the sudden Sony announced a November release date. Someone know more? I thought I remember reading an article about this.
