I counted atleast 2. But i dont remember. Favorite chants of the night with the Classic FARGO FARGO FARGO SUCKS, OVERRATED, and MINNESOTA. And I had Joe Emerich sitting in front of me giving a play by play of the game, so that made the game a lot more interesting... -

I have to say, though they're doing good this year, they are nowhere near as good a team as the team from 2 years ago was...and we all know what place we got in that game. (even though that game had some fucked up calls) -
I playd varsity hockey for the Spuds 99-02
Went to state 01, 02
I say John Lee is over rated, and Jordie is a man playing against boys.
Jordie has 24pts in 7 games... average 3.42 pts per game The question is will he beat Matt Cullens pt record? We all know that when Matt played they didnt play as tough of teams... Moorhead has alreayd beat 4 of the top 15 teams in the state and the number one team in ND all in the 1st, 7 games.
But the Spuds are a joke kirk?

John Lee is overrated x100 IMO and the only reason anyone respects him really is because Brian is his brother. Though I don't like his brother at all because he's a cocky shit, I still will respect the fact that he's a good player. I think they'll get 2nd place again though at best...it's the curse of Moorhead as well as all Professional Minnesota sports teams, no matter how good you are you'll lose when it matters most.

when it comes to championships?i cant believe we're goin to win state anymore especially after 2005, BUT i think this years squad will make some noise if they get by Roseau in sections, just because i dont think the other teams are nearly as strong as they were from 2005.
that year coulda been the deepest talent class ever.

Exactly. The competition isn't as strong this year and that will be our blessing.
Some say the curse was broken when Cullen brought home the cup. I guess we will get to test it out this year...
