I feel the need to carry because there has been 3 people kidnapped and raped(one of which in broad daylight), in Minot in the past week. Several houses have been burglarized, as have several cars in the past months. Several vehicles have been stolen in the past few months.
I carry because IMO a handgun is like a condom. I would rather have it, and not need it, than not have it, and wish I did.
If a woman can get kidnapped in broad daylight, there is no fucking way in hell I'm going to risk it. This town is getting worse. People ask me why I carry, I tell them, and they tell me I put myself into those situations.
Tell me this, did that poor woman who was walking to her car after work put herself in the situation where she was being carjacked, kidnapped, and raped? She was walking to her fucking car, something every single one of us does every single fucking day.

Well kind of on topic. The Fargo Police have it out for me. NDSU has parking for anyone anywhere after 430pm. I have a class at 4 and it's on the EXACT OPPOSITE side of campus as R lot, it's as close to T as you can. I always get there around 10 or 5 to 4 and park in TF lot under the assumption that I'm probably safe since I only have 30 minutes before I can park there without citation. I got a parking ticket today at 4:16PM for parking. HOW GAY? Get a fucking life if you want to give me a goddamn parking ticket 14 minutes before 430. Sure it's still "against the rules" but honestly, nobodys fucking comming to that lot, they're leaving...especially on a friday. Now I owe the city $110, $100 of which is deserved.

this one time i was doing huge smoking burn outs in the police stations parking lot and then this asshole in his squad car pulls me over mid burn out and hes all like stop that im giving u a ticket and im like WTF? so then i pulled out my gat and pointed it at him and hes like bam bam and he shot me and im like WTF?
so the moral of the story is that cops are assholes that shoot u and write tickets with out doing a damn thing
do u think i should fight it? it wasnt my fualt my tires where spinning on black pavement looking ice and my BOV went off then when he pulled me over i thought that he had a gun so i could compare mine to his but then he shot me in the face
i think i might sue becuase i had a under wear model shoot later that day and the photographer was all pissed that i got shot in the face

The cops not in the wrong, you were. its like that kid who got all pissed off cause he got a speeding ticket for doing 75 in a 55 or something like that. You broke the law, you got caught. end of story. Dont do it next time and the cop wont "have it out for you" when you break the law. If it was 4:29 i could see being somewhat perterved, but thats it. Good lord man.

For 1, the lot is half empty when I get there, and I got the ticket 14 minutes before it switched over. Is it really that big of a deal for me to park in a half empty lot 15 minutes before it switches? I realize i'm technically in the wrong but honestly, they must seriously need some money or some shit if they feel the need to cite me for that.
I'm totally fine with getting worthwhile tickets...when I was doing dounuts in the parking lot I deserved the exhibition driving ticket I got. When I rolled the stopsign I deserved the ticket I got. When I get a ticket for parking in a half empty lot 30>* minutes before it's open to anyone that's nitpicky bullshit.

ive gotten a speeding ticket for 1 mph over the limit. I was speeding. my fault. I paid the fine and went on with my life. Maybe its time to man up and take responsibility for your own action. This isnt me on a high horse. this is me getting sick of whiny bullshit like this all the time. You were in the wrong. Pay the fine and fucking deal with it.
