culldesacs are one of the best areas to screw around in when its icy out. i did a 360 with my old prelude and just about went right into the side of my sisters new civic. but now i have a camaro and thats pretty fun not having to use the e brake.

awd + 400hp is a lot of fun when the roads get a little slick

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

Some lowered Integra LS tryed to race me last night, I'm sure it would have been fun getting traction.

I enjoy drifting too, can't do it too well on dry pavement...just a few feet. FWD drifting just isn't the same as watching someone w/ an AE86 or 240SX drift, even watching the amatures @ St Cloud 2 years ago was very cool. Some very talented individuals attend the track days there, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to watch/participate.

me and my buddy had fun with my mostly stock awd talon last weekend on slippery streets. sliding around corners and breaking my backend loose. it was fun.

i got to see some good drifting this fall at the ojibewe forest rally up in bemidji. there were a lot of hot cars up there.

when do they have that event in st. cloud?

I don't know about closing the track, even if they do, there is a track in the Mpls area as well. The days I attended was w/ All American Road Racing Federation (aarrf). Their website is www.aarrf.com. I know aarrf and st cloud had a falling out of sorts, but it appears that they are working to get those differences resolved. If you want to know more about it, I'd say check their website. If you want to know more about drifting in particular, talk to Llew on one of the forums or by email.

I stand corrected, no St Cloud racing this year.
