the ecu isnt going to monitor back pressure in the exhuast. it does how ever watch pressure differances in the EGR system. and if it doesnt run shitty its not going to be a plugged cat then it would just fall on its face.
does it sound like it might have some detonation if you get on it at all? it doesnt need to be running bad to be detonating but with bad egr flow you might be able to hear some.here a psht, there psht, everywhere a psht psht
