so i just asked some questions about interfaces.
thought to keep things a bit organized i would ask in another thread about screens.

is it easy to add multiple screens to a car?
is it easy to add screens at a later time to a car that has an indash screen already?

what all is needed to do either one?

is it better to use in dash source or go with an external source? ie PS2 or whatever.

this is all new to me so i am full of questions and ready to learn.

then later will decide how far i really an ready to take this.

Its really simple to add multiple screens....most of them are just video cables.
it can get to be alot of wiring but its pretty simple.

I'd suggest using an indash source over a ps2 but thats just me.

since i am about the KISS thing. i am sure in dash would be the way for me.

wiring does not scare me much.

Answering the questions in the order they were asked

Yes, a bit of extra wiring, but pretty simple.
Yes, if it has an indash already, it helps make it easier.

Usually a couple power wires and a component input wire to feed signal.

MUCH easier to use a device designed for such a purpose, IOW an indash is easier than a PS2 (usually anyway)

The others that have responded have given pretty much the same answers as me, I just summed it up for ya.

i think since i like the KISS philosophy an indash would be the route for me to go.
as for handling the wires..i can..only thing is would i have the time to tackle it? time will tell.
if not then i will be shouting at someone to tackle it for me.

                thanx again
