I don't think anyone particularly minds that you post about it, they would just prefer that you contribute to the site a bit rather than just spam it once a year w/ info on the cookout.
Not that the cookout doesn't have a good turnout and isn't a good time (I went a couple years ago after autovations and thought it was decent...and I'm a subie guy..)

I understand what you are saying. I do snoop around on Fargostreet once in awhile, especially for info on events at Interstate Dragways. But its just hard to contribute on all the boards that I'm registered on.
