It goes to the most deserving recipient yeah i can take my car to a shop and drop 30k into it and win lots of carshows like a few others i know who i wont use names, and then they win every year and is that really fair to the guy who works a couple jobs and does his car as a hobby and does the work himself who really deserves it more? the rich kid who's parents probably paid for the crap or the kid who works and saves and does most of the work himself and does it for himself not just to take the fun out of the car shows for everyone else. Also i have talked to stan the main guy that puts this show togeather and the imports do not have to be in the class of under 21. they just choose to go in there because that is what most of the under 21 people do. If they wanted to be judges with the rest of the car show they can go park outside the balldiamond and be judges that way.
you can park anywere and i know a couple people that have parked outside the ball diamond and they don't get any one stoping and looking at their ride... you will get more people stoping if you are in the ball diamond with something newer... which isn't that most of the fun is getting to talk to people at the events? i know it is for me anyway

I do agree that the Beretta shouldnt have won because it looked like shit and there were a lot better cars there, just like i didnt get interviewed for my probe that was there for under 21. and i did most of that work myself well me and a couple buddies and if anyone knows the story on that thing it was a pain in the ass. People just dont need to bitch about it, It is spose to be a fun weekend for car people who cares if you win or lose just come to hang out and have a good time.

ohh yea and by the way i sold the probe and my grand am is no where near done so i wont be able to join in the festivites this year either. Also because we just had our 2nd child on may 10th. probably be there walking around and stuff just not participating this year.

ok done with my rant.
i hear you on dropping a ton of money to win and bursting the bubbles of others. guess i will never be in that boat. as i am a working stiff with continuously empty pockets.so where would i be if i ever find a 97-03 body style gran prix GTP? i am well over 21. not a muscle car and not an import either?
and well likely it will not be flashy either. just a clean and simple car. KISS pleaseMonty

Unfortunately, its not looking good for me being there. Too much going on lately. If anything I'll cruise down on saturday and come back the same night.
