Don't worry too much, age means nothing here. Just ones love for the automobile in what ever shape or form it may be in.

    Cyril Figgis: Call girl!
Sterling Archer: No Cyril! When they're dead they're just hookers!

Hi name is Dustin. From Eagan, MN originally suburb of Minneapolis, in between St.Paul and Bloomington and have relocated to Fargo, North Dakota for a period of 6 months on a contract with a company here in town.

I drive an 05 Mercedes Benz CLK 500, coupe, nothing done to it and too scared to do anything to it since I've had enough problems as is. Just wanted to say hi and went through your forum for a little bit this morning.

Welcome, I used to live in Fargo, moved down here to Minnetonka.

But I hear you on the Mercedes problems... I've got an 06 SLK and it's been in the shop basically every month for something different.

Minnetonka is a nice area - Housing Market all around minneapolis though has taken a complete nose dive (with the exception of Shakopee for some strange reason) and of course, downtown St.Paul - well I wish I was in your position right now Jim, I wish I was back home 😞

I'd been meaning to get some up here - today is a beautiful today, after I wash the car I will do that.

As for how I heard about fargostreet.com - I stopped by a local shop here in town to get a quote on an autostart and we got to talking about the internet for whatever reason and he referred to me to both there site and this one. Younger guy with glasses I believe, I feel bad though; since I purchased the autostart elsewhere (E-bay, plus some random guy at bobcat + beer = good deal)

                  Coupla things....

First off, we should get together and start a Fargo Mercedes Club....We'd be the only members! :icon_cheers: :icon_geek:

Second, it's funny that you mention the housing market in the cities. I've moved up here to Fargo, but still have my house in Shakopee. 😄 Which, if I decided to sell, could probably get 20-25k more than I bought it for last year. hehehehe. Go Shok town.

And lastly, Does the autostart work? You must have to leave a key in your car all the time given the way the EIS operates.

Anyway, welcome. I'm still a noob here myself.

                  Eric

Yea, I gotta think carshows would be kind of a bitch. 2 cars. Both of us voting for our own. Nobody leaves cuz we both want the little coupin that goes with winning the show. 😄

You know what we should do, go get the 4 Benzs that are in town, and go rice it up and box in silly ricers. 😛 😉

                      That was a joke, btw.

Head out to sabin for the races on july 7th, I'm sure a large majority of guys on this forum will be out there. There's usually quite a few really nice cars that aren't racing to check out too, kind of an informal car show, and lots of car guys and gals to BS with. Only cost $5 to watch if things haven't changed since I was last out there.
