Trucks=stupid?

i hate assholes that think they are cool and own the road because they drive a truck. about to turn left onto thirteenth avenue and my light turns green so i start to go about halfway into the intersection i see this truck squeling on his breaks. i would say stopped 2 inches from my driver side door. then he starts yelling at me.... um hello you where at least 15 feet behind the intersection when the light turned red and you still decide to go through the light after it is red. argh

I don't think the fact that the person was driving a truck had anything to do with it. Sounds like it was just a total dipshit. Glad you're ok and more anger in a rant next time please.

Trucks that are lifted or have exhaust are usually dumbass hicks, I have yet to run into one to prove this broad generalization wrong...

In GENERAL, I have to agree. I've been tailgated and almost run off the road more times BY FAR by big trucks than by cars. Just the other day I was driving down 17th ave going about 30 (in a 25) being tailed by a truck that was literally two feet from my bumper. Then the fucker had the nerve to start honking at me, I assume to make me go faster. The sad part is, thats nowhere near the first time something like that has happened.
I've had less of a problem with stupid high school kids with "super fast" civics. Granted I'm sure it's just the same type of deal as with the import crowd - a few ruin the image of the many - but still. It pisses me off when people that drive huge gas guzzlers that get 3mpg think they own the road.

and i was just ranting to some people earlier tonight about chevy trucks and exhaust wanting to race.... and i get a kick out of it when you trun off they ALWAYS rev at you like they are trying to prove something..... yeah.... your 5.3L is SOO BAD ASS!!!... they are just like most hondas with in intake and a fart can... they make alot of noise, but they dont go anywere

pick up or semi? theres a diiference in terminology. as far as hicks, you guys up here have no idea what hick is. i was born and raised in the south. you need to go a few miles off the road to find hick. and yes, my doge has dual exhaust, and yes its fuckin loud, but who cares. i enjoy it and enjoy driving it. semi drivers are the ones i have a beef with as far as trying to beat the light. i watch the lights when im in an intersection to see if someone is trying to beat the light. and if they do, and my light turns green, i hit the gas just to prove a point to the dumb ass that i have the right of way. and my pick up is big. quad cab long box.

I love that the majority of people with 4wd trucks around here never go off-roading, never pull trailers, etc. There were some kids that came into work a few months ago in a brand new Dodge Mega-Cab, probably bought by mommy and daddy, and most likely never use it for their intended purpose. No wonder why our gas prices go up all the time...especially people that drive things like Hummers and stuff, and only use them around town. I mean if you can get by with a car or smaller truck (like most of these people could), then do it. At least back home when people drive trucks around most of them use them, for example farmers and people that have boats, trailers, etc. And most of the ones you see all jacked up actually go off-roading with them, as far as I know everyone I know with trucks like that where i'm from go mudding and stuff, not like people up here that just think they look cool or it boosts their ego.

4WD pickups aren't even made to go off road these days. Hell there not even made to USE the 4WD. All of them come with polyurethaine bushings in the front hubs. So as soon as you put any torque on them they strip and then you've just done the cheapest 4WD to 2WD conversion ever.

sounds like some retard just ran a red is all.... shouldn't even state anything about them thinking they "own the road" because they drive a truck.
