UTI cars

sts rear mount kits ussually dont have a front mount. IIRC they just go directly to the TB or have a water to air intercooler. The discussion on whats best could go on forever. You can tell its turbo when you see the air filter where one of the exhaust tips is suppose to be.

^ I meant when you're looking under the hood there's no turbo...most people dont look under the car for something. I'm pretty sure they had an IC in a corvette that some show installed the kit on tv, but it was on a long time ago so I might be wrong.

Thse kits lose like 2psi but cool the air better than an "in the bay" type turbo set up. The vid of the guys setting up the twin turbo corvette had a front mount not too far from the throttle body maybe like 1 ft away. Ill try and find it.

I hear the tune telephones there but i don't see any. On there commercial they tell you that you can learn to tune Vtech.

Yeah, I went throught the Minnesota AAA competition and won a small scholarship to go to the Glendale Heights campus. I have been kicking myself in the rear for 7 years for not going.

LOL! But he is probably the best auto teacher in the state. even though he did not approve of me or spanishrice's cars and what was done to them:icon_scratch: even my jeep.

He definately didn't approve of cheeching in a car right before pulling it into the shop. Tobacco only of course.

LOL we had a kid in my class get caught chewing, and he was 16 to make it better. And he probably was the same way back then absolutly no BS when there is a sub, especailly Mr. Jess, if u know him

Lol, I got busted chewing in auto class back in HS too, I got an extra 3 days of xmas vacation for it... Hell one of our subs in Fergus was some old guy, and kids used to bum dips from him, lol.

OOOO time for a "remember classic times in MHS auto class" thread! Mr. miller was probably one of the best teachers i had in that school. loved the guy. we got into it pretty good about me turboing mr car though lol

i just got back from touring the campus in pheonix, pretty sweet. i am going there next winter. they had a sts ls1 trans am there, bad ass. what was even more sweet is that nicholas cage's step son goes to that school, and when nicholas toured the school with him he asked the school why they dont have a ford gt. the school replied that they had better things to spend 180 grand on. nicholas said well i just bought another one, so how about i donate mine.

so now his donated gt is modded, and flat lined the dyno.
