That's weird, I've never had a problem removing it whatsoever.

Probably have to say Zymol or Meguiars professional series stuff if I'm doing it myself...otherwise, whatever kevin uses (eagle one I believe)

i honestly cannot make up my mind. so far have not waxed my car. though it needs it. will get clay bar then mothers this first time around.
looking at mothers complete lineup as well as Adam's polishes.
my first thought was meguiars NXT as the box said it did exactly what i wanted. deep shine with a wet look. then i started reading and asking on other forums.

From what I have seen is that wax-as-you dry do not last long.. and either to wax's that are made to come off very easy...may last a month or so.. If I were to wax a car I would Clay bar the entire car, detar the car and then one coat of paint sealant then one top coat of regular wax

I dont think I have ever waxed my evo but I do apply rainX to the windows.. I love that stuff!!

i like the Meguiars Yellow stuff. But never apply it in the sun, then it hardens on, and you spend the next 4 hours taking it off.

During the winter months I use Meguair's Gold Class, but in the rest of the months I use Meguair's NXT Generation Tech Wax. Best stuff ever (and smells great too).

i had my car fully cleaned at Auto Detailing and Accessories . What they did was vacuum and shampoo the seats and carpet. Then clean out the air vents with little q-tips, armoral the vinyl. then pressure steam clean the entire engine bay. then wash the car, then buff and wax it completely. The buffing helped get rid of a majority of the little scratches in the paint. i would give that place a 10 out of 10. For $230.00 even, i thought it was worth it. car looked brand new like it just came off the lot in 1996.

Sounds a little overpriced to me... Personally, never felt the need to wax my cars, never had decent enough paint... When the project gets done i'll prob have it detailed and stuff... Now only if a certain member still did it...

For $230.00 even, i thought it was worth it. car looked brand new like it just came off the lot in 1996.

I hope they used something better than Armour-All. That is the worst stuff you can use on your vinyl. It may look really nice for the first day or so, but then it dries out your vinyl and it cracks.

^^^ isn't that like an old myth about armour all? or maybe it was the first version of the stuff.
