Any Truck Owners?

you need to slam trucks to the ground put air bags baddass system in it, or just drop it alittle from stock beef up that engine
Honestly, I'd rather have the raised truck than a lowered one. Just a pet peeve of mine, especially when I see H2's slammed w/ Dubs (or worse, lambo-doors)....why the hell would you buy an H2 and then lower the damn thing?Maybe, just maybe, a 2wd truck would be worth lowering, but then only a midsize or smaller truck (S10, Colorado, Ranger, Mazda, Toyota, Nissan, etc...) As for the bad ass system, I'm all for that. I'm actually working on an in car multimedia system in a Colorado that will be lowered 2"-3" and turbocharged within the next year. The full system will be designed to be removed for racing and reinstalled for DB Dragracing, car shows, USACi shows, etc...
I'll post up some pics once we get a little further along.

I hate the whole slammed H2s and shit. In my opinion, trucks were not made to lower unless it is 2wd and built. I have a 1964 Chevy 1/2 ton 2WD in my drive way right now that is lowered like 4 inches, it has lower pros in the front and big meats in the back. If the body was nice i would drive that, but it needs a basic frame up restore to be drivable. It also has a 327 in it with a TH400 trans, the only problems mechanically are the torque converter(loose bolts) and the fuel pump seal went out. A lot of people think i should just save up and restore it, but idk. The previous owner was basically making it a race only truck. he put a one wire alternator in it so it needs to be jumped all the time. The modds are as follows:
American Racing Rally Rims
327
Comp cams cam
edlebrock performer intake
edlebrock 750 cfm quadrajet
hooker headers
dual side pipes
TH400 Trans
Lowered
Traction bars
swaybars -

Im a truck guy, but Im in agreeance with them, keep your car if you are trying to save money. You'll be lucky to get 10mpg with this one you are talking about buying.I agree if you are tryin to save money you want to keep the car cuz an older lifted truck you are really goin to suck the gas. I have an 84 ford ranger with 7" of lift and the stock v6 in it and around town i am lucky if i get 10mpg. but that is sittin in a field right now cuz the tranny couldn't take what i put it though. So im drivin a 97 intrepid right now and I have saved alot more money drivin a car than I ever did when I was drivin my pickup even though I liked driven the pickup more cuz it was fun to go play in. but if you are tryin to SAVE keep your car.

It is for sale. it comes with most of the body peices including an extra rust free cab. The converter bolts knock because they are loose and the fuel pump leaks. Other than that it is fine mechanically. We would like to get $1500 for it.
do u have pics? can i come and look at it? i want my truck so bad and 64 is awesome is it short box or full -
Here are the pics. It is a long box fleet side. You can come and look at it. Give me a call some time to come and look at it at 361-0955. It is missing the fenders.

what are you doing now? and what type of rearend is in it??? -
no papers on motor, the frame is solid. we have driven it before. I was out at the track for the regular drags, and they had a couple that just had about the same stuff done to them as this one if not less running 12's.
Oh ya, i forgot to mention, but the drivers side motor mount is broken. These trucks are known for there weak motor mounts on that side. Most people chain the front of the block to the frame to help prevent this from happening.
It has new shocks also.
